no its a totally seperate country. taiwan is capitalist, china is communist. the chinese nationalists fled to taiwan after the chinese civil war when mao (communist) took charge of the country.
@Tacome1942 Concerning the review: the cheap plastic only looks horrible, it actually is pretty thick, and servers its purpose, i painted mine matte black until i get my rail system on.
and just for the record, ur comment is the one that’s being “ignorant”. u have to have a valid reason and fair amount of evidence and decent background knowledge before u completely reject a fact that is true, considering that the M14 has many different variations out of its original model. i’m not trying to be rude or anything, it’s just that metal heat shield is what’s on the original blueprint and everything else is based from this design, such as the M21, Mk. 14 Mod 0, M39 EMR, etc..
that’s right, it is called POLYMER, u halve to be very specific when ur putting up an argument. and the military doesn’t really care if it’s “shitty” as long as it’s durable and meets their “requirements”. the “modern” M14 may have “polymer” heat shield, but they were originally metal and it’s more of a personal preference to which u would rather have on. u are making a false statement that they are “not supposed to be metal dumb ass!” because they technically used metal for the original one.
It’s called polymer, and we understand it perfectly. Polymer is a kind of plastic, dipshit. And METAL will absorb heat, so it makes a shitty heat shield. No one wants to hear your shit about not understanding things. The heat shield on modern M14s is made of polymer plastic, the same material as the body. Let me know after you’ve fired the REAL M14 like I have and tell me the heat shield is plastic then. Quit acting ignorant on Youtube.
ummmm….. yeah, dude, ur so smart! PLASTIC heat shield on a real gun! lol. it’s a thin sheet of metal that’s free-floating from the barrel so that YOU (and the shield) does not contact the barrel. and besides, plastic on a real gun, especially in that area, will never pass the military test. just so you know, there is a difference between PLASTIC and other materials they use on the guns like M16, M4, SCAR, etc, the engineers just call it plastic so that people like YOU can understand.
Yo, the fucking heat shield is not supposed to be metal dumb ass! It’s plastic on the real gun! Heat shield would’nt do anything if it was metal. It’s supposed to help not burn you, it wouldn’t be called that if it was metal.
Reminds me of an m1 garand, btw for all who didn’t notice when they were talking about the bb spillage the cameraman whispers “aaahhh brutally raapppeeeddd”
