How to silence the airsoft L96 sniper rifle with an airbrake
I wanted to silence my type 96 sniper rifle as much as possible, I’ve already added some custom buffing to the back of the cylinder head. My brother has a VSR G-spec that is super quiet thanks to the airbrake on the piston head, so I decided to make an airbrake for my piston head. NOTE: this will not work on the piston/head supplied with the rifle, all my cylinder internals have been replaced. It’s now as quiet as the G-spec, and i’m yet to add a silencer… 2nd NOTE: adding an airbrake will make your rifle quieter but will also decrease you fps. By shortening the airbrake, you will increase the fps but the rifle will get noisier. Any question just leave comments…

You’d be surprised lol. My friend silences his G36c just so people don’t know where the pellets are coming from. I don’t silence my L96 because I like people to know where I am, makes it a challenge

this works really well with my utg m324,it does take your fps down some but it makes your gun more accurate with .20

i would do this only for the fact that my l96 is over the site that i play ats limit but i wouldn’t like to fuck it up

this is an upgraded piston, i think the rifle is a WELL make.

it doesn’t seem like it would break it, all it does is slow the piston as it reaches the end of the chamber.
The longer and stronger the spring, the lower your FPS is. If you put a weak spring in there, it will make your FPS decrease, but it will only be a minor change
