The gun is AVS plastic the only metal parts are the trigger and the trigger guard, it shoots 330FPS out of the box and you CAN upgrade it to shoot 500FPS the red dot that it comes with is really shitty i would suggest buying a sniper rifle scope

yes I’m fairly certain you can, i am looking into buying the same gun, and i have also looked into better springs for such spring guns, good luck with the gun and upgrade!
