Aside from standard guns like assault rifle, machine gun, and sniper, an Airsoft mini-gun is another interesting addition, either to your weaponry for Airsoft battles or to your Airsoft artillery collection. This gun resembles the barrel-style machine guns used by soldiers in real battles, providing the same effect, feel, and action.

Airsoft mini-guns are said to have started from the Asahi mini-guns, which were manufactured by Asahi Firearms Co. during the 90s. These weapons were the exact replica of the real M134 and could fire 6mm plastic pellets. It had complex designs and used small DC battery as source of power. The introduction of the Asahi mini-guns has spurred the interest of many manufacturers. Many other types of mini-guns were manufactured soon after; most of which are already using electric motor as source of power instead of small DC battery.

Although termed mini-guns, Airsoft mini-guns’ appearance doesn’t say so. These mini-guns are remarkable for their enormous weight and large size that one person can’t handle an Airsoft mini-gun alone. Airsoft mini-guns are meant to be mounted on a tripod for easy use and convenience. These guns may not be excellent in terms of accuracy, but its high rate of fire makes its attractive and preferred by many. This barrel type of machine gun can produce a very high rate of fire of over 3,000 rounds per minute.

Airsoft mini-guns are also called Airsoft Gatling guns or chain guns. Most of today’s Airsoft mini-guns are already built with electric motor, providing constant ammunition to the mini-guns’ chamber while continuously rotating the barrels. Such capabilities of Airsoft mini-guns allow for excellent firing mechanism, making them perfect for easy firing and spraying of bullets at enemies and increasing the team’s chances of winning the battle. Another interesting feature of these mini-guns is their ability to shoot at varied distances. They’re able to shoot from 200 fps to 700 fps.

With the many interesting features and benefits that Airsoft mini-guns provide, it’s quite sad to know that only a few of these beauties are manufactured nowadays. For instance, one of today’s leading manufacturer, Piper’s Precision Products, only have to types of Airsoft mini-guns in production: Venom and M134-A2. Venom is a compact Airsoft mini-gun that can fire at a cyclic rate of 75 rounds per second and at 350 fps. The M134-A2, on the other hand, is manufactured after the earlier type of M134 mini-gun, but is remarkable for its enhanced designs. It can fire at a cyclic rate of 42 rounds per second and at a distance of between 280 fps and 600 fps. The M134-A2 is able to fire plastic pellets and steel BBs.

The price of an Airsoft mini-gun generally starts from $4,500 to $6,000. Many, however, especially artillery collectors, are not at all intimated by such an enormous price. For these individuals, having this type of mini-gun in their collection can prove to be great investments. These can help them make a lot of money, especially in the future when Airsoft mini-guns are predicted to be considered merely collectible items instead of important equipment for Airsoft battles.

This is a basic overview on the utg L96 bolt action airsoft sniper rifle. But this isnt just an ordinary airsoft gun. Because ive had this for a year now ive upgraded most of the gun including the bipod, scope,PAINTJOB and a bravo green laser that goes for miles at night.

This is my tutoral on how to assemble any l96 airsoft sniper rifle. Quick steps: 1: Put the barrel and trigger assembly into the ABS body frame. 2: Tighten up the screws using the supplied big allen wrench. 3: Attatch the scope to the rail (optional) Just sit the scope on the rail and tighten with screw and square thingy.
