This is a very common situation faced by many airsoft fans when they are shopping for their guns. There is a huge variety to choose from and they normally look attractive in photos but in real life, we don’t know about its accuracy, shooting distance and their batteries durability.

Every airsoft fan should have at least a pistol and another gun such as sniper rifle, standard rifle or sub machine gun. You can choose between these options depending on two factors, the guns’ weight and length of barrel which majorly determines the accuracy of a gun.

Sniper rifles have very high accuracy rate but they are very heavy and bulky which can be really inconvenient to carry around. Therefore, it is important that you should know clearly what role you are playing on the field. Are you the one which pick off enemies from a distance, or the one who help your teammates to cover fire? Or maybe you are the one who guards certain objective? Once you are sure about the role you are playing, you can choose to have a rifle or a shotgun such as the G3 Airsoft rifle or the M4 Airsoft rifle. These guns are medium-sized and have great balance of accuracy and weight.

Last but not least, never forget to protect your eyes by wearing eye and ear protection when you are handling airsoft guns. You can easily lose an eye over a game if you are not careful.

when you are choosing which type of gun to buy? Most of the time, the pictures of the guns may look attractive, but the real thing may turn out to be the opposite.

When you are choosing to buy airsoft guns, whether a pistol, sub machine gun, standard rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun or others, you should take these things into consideration:
-the weight of the gun
-the length of the barrel

The length of the barrel will be the ultimate determinant of your gun’s accuracy.

You should also determine which role you are playing on the field before purchasing any gun. Are you playing the role of picking off enemies from a distance or you are the one who provides cover fire for the other players on your team? Or maybe you are the one who guards certain objective? The role that you are playing is very crucial in helping you to determine which gun to buy because different roles need different types of guns.

Last but not least, you have to make sure that you have taken all the safety precautions when you are handling airsoft guns. Your eyes are the area where you have to protect it the most because you may hurt your eyes in an airsoft game.

The advantages that come from being a sniper are numerous.  For one, you are essentially out of the range of any enemies, so while you are safe, they are not.  In fact, it is this benefit that is most appealing about being a sniper.  Being able to take people out even when they cannot see you is a satisfying idea, although this can be a drawback for some people who like to be right in the action.  However, with a large group of people, there is always a mix of interests, so you will definitely have some people who prefer to snipe.

Besides not being in the action all the time, there are some other disadvantages to sniping.  For one, if you are constantly looking through your scope in one direction, then you cannot see anybody who is coming from behind you.  Therefore, being a sniper leaves open a wide area for you to be attacked, which is why many snipers have a partner who is their eyes for the area they are not watching.  Getting somebody to agree to partner with you can be difficult sometimes, but if you can, then you are good.  

While some sniper rifles can fire multiple times quickly, many of them can only fire one shot at a time, as they are spring guns.  This means you have to be extremely accurate, and if people are rushing up on you fast, you are basically helpless.  It is critical that you have some kind of sidearm on you, such as an electric pistol or even a full-on airsoft rifle, to prevent you from being taken out in these kinds of situations.
