I wanted to silence my type 96 sniper rifle as much as possible, I’ve already added some custom buffing to the back of the cylinder head. My brother has a VSR G-spec that is super quiet thanks to the airbrake on the piston head, so I decided to make an airbrake for my piston head. NOTE: this will not work on the piston/head supplied with the rifle, all my cylinder internals have been replaced. It’s now as quiet as the G-spec, and i’m yet to add a silencer… 2nd NOTE: adding an airbrake will make your rifle quieter but will also decrease you fps. By shortening the airbrake, you will increase the fps but the rifle will get noisier. Any question just leave comments…
A review of the chinese cloned Type 96 originally made by Maruzen. I think this was made by AGM, I can’t remember now. I bought it as a Warrior L96. Now heavily modified with internals and home made mods. I have firing power set ups of 400 to 490fps. The most powerful spring I have is a 1.99j, I want a stronger one – anyone know what and where I can get one?
Viewer’s request: This is a complete disassembly and reassembly of the Maruzen Type 96 trigger box and internals by K2. The stock trigger box made by the Chinese manufacturer for Mauser SR, WELL, UTG, is made of cheap plastic. ANY lubricants such as WD40 will rapidly deteriate the plastic, causing it to crack! I replaced my severly cracked trigger box with K2. This trigger box is $208.00 without shipping! Yes. MORE than the cost of the rifle! But this trigger box is simply indestructable. With STEEL sear, bolt lock and trigger release, this trigger assembly will outlast the rifle itself! This video showcases the dissasembly, the parts, and the reassembly, step-by-step. Howbeit the stock trigger box is plastic and mines is billet aluminum, the internals are the same as in location and its dissasembly. Besides, you can see the details in the procedures……
Thanks to boredom, you will get a nice video of my KJW M700 shooting.. It IS running on a green gas rig that I made. There have been hours of work done on the internals of the magazine and gun. I will not specify or talk about these modifications in detail due to safety reasons. I was shooting with .48 , or .43, I dont remember, aluminum bbs The gun is like a real m700 PSS system. I decided to not use the mag as an bdl and just hand load the bb’s through the magazine into the chamber. Yes it shot through one side of the coffee can, Normally it goes through both sides at point blank. Please do not criticize/flame me for the velocity that this gun is running at, I do not play at fields with velocities this high because I do care about the well-being of my fellow airsofters.
