UTG L96 airsoft sniper rifle shooting test. 12 unopened soda cans from approx. 45-50 feet away, in the wind. I have not done an exact chrono since I upgraded my gun, but my estimate is around 470~530 fps. with a .43g Madbull BB (I HIGHLY reccommend you use these BBs if you choose to upgrade your UTG L96.) I also use .36g BBs for higher fps. and longer range, but it’s up to you what you want to do with your gun in battle. I shoot my custom painted and upgraded super 9 at a tree with some metal plates on it at 120-130 feet. I was using crosman .2g bbs. I was too cheap to fire off 20 of my KSC .25s or my Madbull .3s, This gun works best with .25s and up. The hop up is adjusted for .25s It is a decent gun when you get it, but if you want a project gun, this is great. The shell ejecting feature is cool too, but useless. Also, a sneak peek to my viewers- I’m getting a Sanyo VPC-FH1 for my birthday in the middle of June, along with some extras. This means HD Videos!! I personally can’t wait.
