Through time, your piston head, inner cylinder, and cylinder head will become fouled with tiny bits of metal from your piston and your trigger sear, and oil or silicone residue. As well as a loss of velocity through time, as your spring comtinues to compress. I took the liberty to work on my rifle after a downpour we had on Sunday, May 02, 2010. OK. This is a video I made after coming to the field we play at, and waiting for the rest to show up. I seen a McDonald’s cup across the field, and started shooting at it, and got some really accurate shots! Then I seen the barrel. Consistant show after shot, then I decided to make this video. The only difficulty is the many trees and branches between me and the target. But that was no problem once I had found a small pathway my pellets can fly right through…..

After many parts changes, many up-grades and more changes, and even changing the appearance of the STOCK rifle, I had finally came to the final COMPLETED Mauser SR makeover! And here it is….. There MAY be more videos, but it will be short performance videos…..

This video spanned a few months. This is my quest for 500FPS, since the field I play at had raised the velocity limit. A rule of thumb is, increase in velocity will NOT necessarily increase the DISTANCE your pellets will fly, or increase the accuracy! But it is a fun challange for me to do so, and pass it on to my viewers. PLEASE NOTE: for all Maruzen L96 CLONES, increasing your velocity by means of using a stronger spring WILL increase your chances of breaking your stock trigger assembly! You WILL need to get a much more expensive trigger assembly to handle the stronger spring!
