Mauser SR – Maintenance – Adjusting My PDI Hop-up After Overhaul

Saturday, May 29th, 2010

Eventhough I left my scope on while I took apart the bolt, and the outer/inner barrel, just the removal of the inner barrel can throw off your aim a bit. But that is to be expected. I left my scope ON the frame to illiminate one more headache. So adjusting the hop-up will be miniscule as well as the scope fine adjustment…..

KJW M700 Takedown Accuracy Test/ Panasonic SDR-H40 Zoom

Friday, May 21st, 2010

This is my KJW M700 with a UTG Tectedge scope. I’m using some .26 BIO BBs and some Propane. It was pretty windy, also cold, both of which effected the accuracy. I didn’t think it preformed too badly, especially under the conditions it was under. This is a great gun for sure, also a great scope. The BBs look like they’re coming in sideways, but that’s just because I have the camera to the left of the gun, so the barrel is pointing in a different direction than the lens of the camera. Also, the Panasonic SDR-H40 has phenomenal zoom.

MP001 Review and Common Problem (High Quality)

Saturday, May 1st, 2010

This is a review and a description of a common problem with the AGM MP001 having to to with “slam fire”, and a brief review of the formerly Leapers UTG 2-9×50 Mil Dot scope with intensified reticule support. The AGM MP001 sniper rifle is a generic replica of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 sniper rifle. I have NOT tested it and do not know if it comes up to par with the UTG. (Link Below) www.airsplat.com Elite Precision .25g plastic bb’s-$12.00-3000 I am using Elite precision black .25 g plastic bb’s and they work very well in matches. (Link Below) www.airsplat.com The problem with my gun is that it “slam fires” or does not allow the trigger sear to correctly catch the spring and slams back to its original position when the bolt is pushed back into its original forward resting position after being cocked back. As I will tell you I have taken the gun apart and have found and patched the trigger sear with a small flexible piece of aluminum (soda can metal works the best) and some super glue. In another video, I will show you my method of fixing it, but currently, since
