If you want a sleek, mean looking firearm, then the UTG MK96 Rifle is something you should look at. The UTG MK96 rifle is designed based on the L96 sniper and this sniper has found its entry into the British Army and is also favored among other law enforcement units and special operations task force in America as well as internationally. The UTG is engineered with the words easy and hassle free in mind as it includes an ergonomically designed grip and stock making this rifle truly comfortable for the shooter to keep it focused on a target effortlessly. The stock is unique and is made up of two ABS plastic halves that are bolted together around an 8 inch metal bedding block. This acts as a chassis for the barrel group.
Using this rifle is also comfortable as the UTG MK96 has an adjustable cheek rest and a 20mm scope mount, making firing and different surfaces much easier. The UTG MK96 also comes with an adjustable scope mount, adding a scope to the rifle is also easy for the shooter. Shooters with this rifle will ultimately agree that the spring bolt of the UTG is easy to pull back especially when the UTG is a pull back airsoft gun that shoots at 430 to 460fps. The UTG weighs an approximately 3340g or 8.5lbs, contributed mainly by the heavy metal content of the rifle from its barrel, receiver, bolt, bolt handle, safety switch, trigger, magazine release, magazine, front sling mount, rear sling mount, bi-pod quick release unit, bi-pod adapter and bi-pod. With a barrel length going up to 4 feet long, this is no weapon for the light hearted. The UTG Rifle is made for extremely cold weather and it comes equipped with a trigger and thumb safety for added security and protection, so that accidental firing can be avoided.
Firing up to 30 rounds from its magazine, the UTG MK96 has a Spring Bolt Action system with a muzzle velocity of 460fps as mentioned earlier with 0.2gbbs. When you purchase a UTG MK96, shooters will also get two magazines, a bipod adaptor, bipod and an instruction manual that contains information on the gun, storage method, maintenance and cleaning as well as recommended items to buy such as rifle lock and trigger locks. The UTG Deluxe Picatinny purchase will give shooters extras as it comes with a mount foldable bipod complete with a tri-rail bipod adaptor. The gun whoever does not come with its own scope so shooters have to go get it themselves at a firearms store.
The UTG MK96 has a one piece precision metal barrel and an adjustable hop up system that allows shooters to use several different weights of high polished BBs. Added to its already extensive features is the rifles’ high power pin point accuracy performance making it effective for long range shooting.
