G&G Armament – A Quick Overview of Airsoft Guns by G&G Armament

Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010

Whenever you are out in the field in the middle of an airsoft exercise, it always pays to make sure that you have a piece of equipment that is going to deliver for you consistently. Whenever you choose something from the G&G Armament, you are sure to receive everything that you’re going to need. Here is a little bit about the G&G Armament of weaponry that you will find available from this company. Regardless of which of the guns you happen to choose, however, you’re sure to get quality and performance from g&g airsoft guns.

Who Are They

G&G has been in business for over 20 years, manufacturing airsoft guns and other equipment that makes them one of the industry leaders. They are focused on quality, both in the equipment that they deliver and for the quality of the customer service that they give to individuals who purchase from the G&G Armament. This makes it a clear choice, but there are are some specific guns that are available which we find to be some of the best that can be found.

Some Popular Guns They Make

For example, the G&G G96 Airsoft green gas/propane powered Sniper Rifle is a solid piece of equipment, that is a bit on the heavy side but most people tend to appreciate that in order to get a little bit more accuracy. The clip is capable of holding 15 rounds and fires them over 600 FPS, which is enough to lay down some serious cover fire for your teammates. As with most of the guns in the G&G armament, it is a combination of metal and ABS plastic. It’s an excellent choice for anybody that is going to be an air soft sniper, but keep in mind that it does not come with the gas. Gas is available optionally from your retailer, so make sure that you order yours at the same time as you order the G96.

They Even Make Great Guns For Beginners

Another good choice for use on the skirmish field is the G&G Combat Machine Series. These are excellent beginner guns from G&G and provide high rates of fire and velocities over 350 FPS and prices under $200. The combat machine series gives you the option of semi automatic and full automatic fire, along with some other included options which make it an excellent choice for beginner and intermediate airsofters ready to do battle.

Airsoft Guns – Choosing The Best One

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

Airsoft simulations are getting more and more popular as a hobby because it offers a lot of fun. However, guns sold at WalMart normally come with low quality and if you are an airsoft enthusiast, you should avoid buying these and invest in a quality rifle or sub instead. Not sure which gun is the best for you?

This is a very common situation faced by many airsoft fans when they are shopping for their guns. There is a huge variety to choose from and they normally look attractive in photos but in real life, we don’t know about its accuracy, shooting distance and their batteries durability.

Every airsoft fan should have at least a pistol and another gun such as sniper rifle, standard rifle or sub machine gun. You can choose between these options depending on two factors, the guns’ weight and length of barrel which majorly determines the accuracy of a gun.

Sniper rifles have very high accuracy rate but they are very heavy and bulky which can be really inconvenient to carry around. Therefore, it is important that you should know clearly what role you are playing on the field. Are you the one which pick off enemies from a distance, or the one who help your teammates to cover fire? Or maybe you are the one who guards certain objective? Once you are sure about the role you are playing, you can choose to have a rifle or a shotgun such as the G3 Airsoft rifle or the M4 Airsoft rifle. These guns are medium-sized and have great balance of accuracy and weight.

Last but not least, never forget to protect your eyes by wearing eye and ear protection when you are handling airsoft guns. You can easily lose an eye over a game if you are not careful.

AEG Airsoft Gun: What’s the hype?

Tuesday, January 5th, 2010

More and more people are taking up an interest in Airsoft simulations as a hobby. It really can be quite fun. The problem lies at WalMart, where mostly low quality Airsoft guns are sold. Any true Airsoft player will tell you to stay away from these and invest in a quality Airsoft rifle or sub. There are so many out there and where do I start!? Should I get a rifle? a pistol? Is the sniper rifle any good?

These are questions I had when I went shopping online for Airsoft guns. There are so many options, and of course the picture of the item looks intriguing… but does it shoot accurately? Does it shoot far? How long do the batteries last?

Firstly, I think all serious Airsofters should carry a pistol and another gun. The other gun could be a sniper rifle, or a standard rifle or sub machine gun. The preference here should lie to two places. You should consider the weight of the gun, and you should consider the length of the barrel, which will ultimately determine the accuracy of the gun.

Sniper rifles are obviously very accurate, however they can be somewhat heavy and bulky to carry around, because of situations like this, you need to decide what role you want to play on the field. Do you want to pick off foes from a distance, or provide cover fire for your teammates? Do you want to be the one that guards a particular objective? Deciding on one of these roles can help to determine if you need a rifle or even a shotgun (yea they are good!). I recommend the G3 Airsoft rifle or the M4 Airsoft rifle, both of these are medium sized weapons that have a great balance of weight and accuracy.

DO NOT FORGET: You need to protect your eyes! ALWAYS wear eye and ear protection when participating in an Airsoft simulation. Airsoft is great fun, but not worth losing an eye over.
