UTG L96A1 airsoft sniper rifle review. In my opinion, this is a great gun. I’ve upgraded it with several products via airsoftgi.com, and I have all the products’ pages listed on my shooting test video. The fps. of this gun is around 570 with a .30g BB, and I use a .43g BB, which reduces to around 470~530; hard to tell without an official chrono. I would reccommend this gun to anyone in airsoft, experienced or not, for it is fairly cheap, durable, and extremely accurate. Along with it’s great looks, what else could you want?

UTG L96 airsoft sniper rifle shooting test. 12 unopened soda cans from approx. 45-50 feet away, in the wind. I have not done an exact chrono since I upgraded my gun, but my estimate is around 470~530 fps. with a .43g Madbull BB (I HIGHLY reccommend you use these BBs if you choose to upgrade your UTG L96.) I also use .36g BBs for higher fps. and longer range, but it’s up to you what you want to do with your gun in battle. The AGM L96 is a bolt action, single fire sniper rifle. It outputs an impressive 450FPS (.20gram BB) right out of the box! The rail on the top of the gun allow for aftermarket upgrades such as a scope. The gun does not include scope, scope rings, or a bipod. Available at Airsplat.com for $89!!
